Catholic Charismatic Renewal

A renewed heart.

Discover a life of prayer, praise, and loving service within the Catholic Church.

What is the Renewal?

Catholic Charismatic Renewal invites a renewed personal commitment to Jesus Christ through the action of the Holy Spirit. Prayer, Scripture, worship and the sacraments nourish this relationship.

Spiritual gifts are welcomed in service to others and the life of the Church. Renewal finds expression in everyday love, fellowship, and sharing the Gospel.

The modern Renewal traces its beginnings to a retreat at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh in 1967. Its story has grown through prayer groups, communities, and ministries around the world.
